Conrad Birdie(Jacob Holbrook) is the biggest rock & roll star of the 50's ever to be drafted. Aspiring songwriter and manager Albert (Carter Corcoran) is convinced he can make his fortune and marry his girlfriend Rosie (Sarah Bennett) if he gets Conrad on the Ed Sullivan show to kiss high school girl Kim Peterson (Kylie Carbol) goodbye. Albert's mother (Kennedi Christie) will do anything to break him up with Rosie. Meanwhile, Kim's steady, Hugo (Jake Moses) is not convinced his girl should kiss another guy - and on national TV no less!
The teen-agers of Sweet Apple, Ohio are swept up in the spotlight of having a pop celebrity in their town. It seems no one is immune from his charisma - even the mayor's wife swoons when Conrad sings!
